IPL

Before this post cud see the light...IPL mudinju Bdesh tour mudinju..Asia cupay arambichachu :D enna panrathu..oodala sila pala review posts vanthutathala...maruthanayagam padam mathiri verum titloda ninu poachu intha post :D

First...mr.lalit modiku oru shoatuu...kalkiputeenga thaliva...ithu workout aagumanu doubt panna makkal elariyum adutha installment eponu ekka vachiputeenga..not that its without its share of controversies..but undoubtably it was a carnival of cricket. No one can deny it.

Next namma oor audiences. Summa solla koodathu. the way the rajasthanis Cheered for sohail tanwir!! for a moment one wondered where went the borders across the desert :) in their partisan ways the crowd helped a long way in establishing the success of the tourney.

Third reason...Lekha washington ;) (cheerleadersuku againsta case poata antha puniyavanuku anniyanla vara ellam punishmentum kidaika kadavathu) and Pretty zinta (typo ileengo :)))...afer each win looking at the way she "congrajulated" the team...avvvvvv...ithukachum adutha varsathukula punjab teamla seranumdoi...

Not the least..the foreign players. One should see the joy on Pontings face when Ishant took someones wicket..forgot who was that..wow..it was a sight to behold. And the cheering which they got for each run and wicket they scored..wow..shane watson would've many a fan club now in rajasthan and even local lads, when they were picked to represent a different city, enjoyed awesome patronage. Best example one Mr.MSD..( I love that Titan sonata ad)

Ennoda dream semi final lineup wud've been...first Chennai (obviously)..second Blore (aairam than iruthalum..5 varusham kuppai kotina oor..and Dravids team) third Deccan chargers (sheerly for gilly...wow..watta character) fourth would've been Kolkota (for SRK..the poor rich man)...unfortunately except for chennai..no one else turned up.

Ellatha vida oru mukkiyamana personal reason iruku..i shd thank this nonstop series for close to 45 days..for the distraction it provided. ilaati it would've taken me even more time to come out...Wish chennai had won the match..ilaati...namma t20 WC mathiri oru bowl out varaikum konduvanthu vachirukalam.

Eagerly looking forward to the next edition :)

LOLZ!!

My 2 Cents
Pros of IPL:

our young players learnt some techniques from foreign players

Cons of IPL:
1.These shorter versions of game has transformed cricket to a batsman game.People have started getting a feel that only if a player scores run/takes wicket continuosly he will be regarded as a good player.
2.These have started making Test Cricket lose its charm
3.Players are not provided enough chance to improvise in their style neither could they attempt to try different methodologies.

i beg to differ here too..sila pala shots which they used in the shorter version..well..ithey shotsa testlaye onedaylayo use paniruntha unorthodoxnu solirupanga..here its termed as improvisation..t20 offers more scope for such new shots..kevin pieterson parunga..intha mari one dayla try panni maatikitu muzhikarar

The Great gamblers

Algorithm of an arranged marriage: 1) Check the foto if like it goto step 2 2) Check the horoscope if it matches goto step 3 3) Visit the gals/guys house for free snack session and have an officially sponsored violation of privacy with the sort of questions that would've made you beet red in anger had the situation been anything otherwise. 4) If step 3 finishes satisfactorily..get the 2 bakras married!!! There are many people around who dont believe in placing bets or who consider gambling as an evil. But still they have no qualms in going in for an arranged marriage. It still beats me..how can one judge a person with just a few minute talk and above all get CONVINCED that he/she is going to be his life partner??!!! Even to select a team mate we have 4 rounds of interview!!! Before you guys jump on me..let me hide behind the disclaimer. I've absolutely no issues with this concept which has worked well for my parents..their parents..relatives...and majority of people i knew and ...

Seasons under sun...

Got this as a forward. Made interesting reading and made lot of sense too :) check it out. Just two years after our marriage, hubby brought up the idea of asking mother to move from the rural hometown and spend her remaining years with us. Hubby's father passed away while he was still very young. Mother endured much hardship and struggled all on her own to provide for him, see him through to a university degree. You could say that she suffered a great deal and did everything you could expect of a woman to bring hubby to where he is today. I immediately agreed and started packing the spare room, which has a balcony facing the South to let her enjoy the sunshine and plant greenery. Hubby stood in the bright room, and suddenly just picked me up and started spinning round and round. As I begged him to put me down, he said: "Lets go fetch mother." Hubby is tall and big sized and I love to rest on his chest and enjoy the feeling that he could pick me up at any moment put the...

Best romantic dialogues..EVER

Love and Freedom of expression in times of Sena wud've been apt title for this post :) Thought i would watch MNIK and post its review to show my protest. Since i couldn't i settled for watching re-runs of the usual mushy movies which they show year after year in Star and HBO. I was waiting for Nottinghill, Harry met sally, Autumn in NY, Sweet November, You've got mail and Pretty woman. Surprisingly except for the last one, none of the other movies featured in any of the channels!!! Maybe the channel guys themselves got bored :D Anyways..these movies have become part and parcel of my movie watching gene that i've mugged up most of their dialogues by now :D Here are some for you to cherish and enjoy. Without googling..let me see how many of these you can identify and how many more you could add :) " I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out, I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich, I love that you get a little crinkle above your no...
