Come fall in Love...DDLJ
Yesterday saw DDLJ in Sony... varusha varusham oru moonu thadavayaachum intha padam paakalaina antha varusham doesnt feel complete :D SONYla reel anthu ponalum fevi kwick poatu otiyachum intha padatha oatiruvan :D all said...chancelatha movie...mokka story...almost negligible screenplay...still thepackaging and the stars and songs make it an all time super hit...i would be surprised if any of you havent even heard of the movie if at all not seen it.
SONGS: You cant think of the movie without the songs...they are the life n soul of the movie...en personal fav.. Rukh ja and Na Jaane mere...ella songsumay soober...and evlo thadava ketaalum alukaathu..peps u up :) still latha mangeshkar kural!! nan onum solalapa...
SRK: Guess he became household name mainly after this movie..oru oru songlayum the dresses he wore..atrocius to say the least!!! guess only he could make a maroon jean on a gree denim shirt look cool with a panama hat to top it!!! me generally crazy over tees...intha padam paakracheylam i update the list of things missing in my wardrobe :D
Kajol: Innocence ivlo azhaga irukuma...!!! antha vishamathanamana kangal...pleading..anger..oozing with love...fear...vulnerable...huh..irukara ella emotionaiyum kannileye kaatra oru soober actress..with loads n loads of energy...topping it all with a grin spreading from ear to ear...WOW...one should watch her in K3G...!!!! she was the driving force in tt otherwise morbid movie...
"U r not genius..u r indigenius"!!! guess you cant better that one :D the movie has its own funny moments too :D
padathila miss pannama paka vendiya inoru nabar...mandira bedi....surprisingly fully covered and guess wat..she too looks gud :D
last but not the least...kajols cuttie sis.."my friends call me CHUTKI" :D chooooo chweeeeeeet....i tried to locate pics of her for posting..enga thediyum kedakala..if any of u got it share madi pls :D

I love the way srk gives that assuring feeling to kajol in the 2nd half. Too good. My fav scene is the one they sit in the terrace during kajol's shaadi and they eat together!! Bloody hell! Best scene!
N yea.. kajol is like.. avvvvvv!!! Love her eyes n the way her eyebrows join!!!

the msot over rated movie of all time! SRK huh...adhulendhu thaan andha i-am-bhagwan thalaiku erinathu...kajol, she was the only relief in the movie, but i really couldnt handle those initial i-am-a-good-girl tantrums...podhungapa...songs were good...but for the horribly nasal lata mangeshkar. she is one of the best singers in hindi cinema, but that was 30 years back!...in this movie she sounds screechy and nasal at best. ruined every single song. ditto for her work in dil to pagal hai. the only song that i find appealing is the zara sa jhoom loo main by asha bhonsle (aint she a rock star?)
DDLJ if u ask me started a wrong trend, we had the chopras and johars spinning one narcissistic shallow tale after another...more mush after mush, more flaring nostrils after another and to such an extent that 2 prominent men's sexuality came quite some topic ;)
when it comes to simple sweet movies, me still prefers hrishikesh mukherji. nothing to beat those good old days...and yeah u want a simple romantic comedy go watch Choti si baat.
and hey, a little trivia for you to chew on, the kid paying kajol's sis, she played the child in a Jackie Shroff movie, King Uncle. peru Pooja ruparel. pic neengale googlikonga

1. opening bhangra...adha pathu SRK slipping-aam...corny :P
2. her first meeting with SRK when she recites the sher followed by that irritating 32 flashing laughter
3. The scene just before suraj hua madham
4. the saraswati scenes in london
