This is a tribute to the nice guys. The nice guys that finish last, that never become more than friends, that endure hours of whining and bitching about what assholes guys are, while disproving the very point. This is dedicated to those guys who always provide a shoulder to lean on but restrain themselves to tentative hugs, those guys who hold open doors and give reassuring pats on the back and sit patiently outside the changing room at department stores. This is in honor of the guys that obligingly reiterate how cute/beautiful/smart/funny/sexy their female friends are at the appropriate moment, because they know most girls need that litany of support. A year back London faced a very similar situation...it made it to the headlines of every newspaper world over...and thrice the number of poeple killed in a similar incident somewhere east in this place called India which is so famous for it's 'hicken tikka masala' and all it manages is a page 8 entry (some say a page 16 others a page 7!)...wow...and who was adorned the front page...was it Zidane...perhaps...nice looking baldie but London has been so cruelly indifferent. Sick!

When the London Tube bombing event took place I was in London.
The effect was not that major with respect to no of people died/ turn around time but the way government and media responded to that was way league than that of india.
Our lives have cheaper value it seems...
