To stop him from watching Tv non-stop, we used to tell him that current bill will increase and we shouldn’t waste electricity. Never realized that he will take it to his heart so deep. I was taking some calls from my laptop one day and Junior was setting up his Jurassic park mylapore version nearby. I just stepped out to put my mobile on charge, immediately he came behind me and scolded me.

She responded back with “Evolovo solren..edaachum mandaila erinaa thaana” look. Eventually we asked him.
“Enna solliruka?”

“Seri..adhukenna ipo”
“Adhaan”
“Enna adhaan?”
“Adhaan laptop shut down panniten..good job sollu”
“goo..err..whaaaat??!!!” I Immediately rushed and could see the system shutting down.
Shock number one – ellathaiyum save paninena ila edachum poacha?
Shock number two – enakkay intha office laptopla shutdown button enga varumnu lighta doubt varum. Ivan eppo note pannan and antha button ku name kooda kedayathu!!!
Looking at the navarasa reactions on my face, junior rushed and hid behind his mom.

Excellent. The rest of the people on the call realised how useless the call is, all disconnected and praised Gilsu. Junior deserves a treat :)

Why are you wasting current, Gils? Why are you not listening to amma? more importantly, why are you telling mokka reason to junior - 'tv paatha current waste aahumaam, rubber kaathula karaiyum' nutu. Took binge watching to a whole new level and completed Rudhra Veenai series in a week's time :) The best part of the lot being, i didnt see the last episode to know the ending, despite the craving urge right from midway onto the series. Yay to that :)  The story by Indira Soundrarajan, made into drama series by Radaan have been on my radar for few years now and thanks to my blog mate and good friend Brags, managed to get hold of the series. For long my complaint against tamil series is that they are in no league to match the thrill element of the english drama series. There are some handful of good comedy series like Flight 171, Ramany vs Ramany but none to match a good suspense thriller till i stumbled on the Marmadesam series. After years of waiting, finally i managed to finish reading "Pirivom Santhippom". I so badly wanted to read this novel for so long, but was unable to get the full copy anywhere. Whenever i went to any book shop, i would either not get a copy or will forget to check, remembering it only later. Onlinela there will be only the second portion of the book available and never the complete set. There was a movie, Anantha Thandavam, based on this book and even that movie, i had never seen from start to finish. Always from halfway portion. I thought i was never destined to read this book. Then one fine day finally managed to get the ebook of the entire two parts and promptly forgot where i saved the file!! Oray varila solanumna...This is one movie which definitely needs a second viewing. It has so many flaws you cant cover them all in one sitting. One cant blame the over hype and delayed release alone for such mega disappointment. However much Kamal tries to fill the movie, with gimmick-a-minute, the much needed story is nowhere.
