Global hotting
It is no longer global warming but global hotting or more precisely global burning like hell!!! If there is one topic which finds place year after year in this space that would be on how hot it is becoming with every passing year and how unbearable it is becoming with every summer that seems to be on an ever increasing trend. During my school days it used to be 4 months of summer from around April till june-july end and then it would relatively become cooler with rainy season starting. Or bare minimal when it used t blaze away during day time, evening will be filled with rain. This year, from March onwards, AC has been running non-stop everynight and we are already in the 9th month with forecast of every day having increased temperature by atleast a couple of centigrades. This year may be exceptional with el nino, la nina and all combinations of those vowels and consonants playing havoc across the globe. But it seems to be increasing severely despite the peak summer being supposedly over!! On one hand we are seeing Himalayan floods wiping away towns and villages and other side of the country is boiling like dry chilli on a frying pan. To top it all the power cuts that happen way frequently due to increased demand. With people shifting towards electric vehicles, the power demand is only going to shoot up and how much ever we try to save the world by going "green", switching over from petrol to electric, with every new day seeing every other country entering into war with its neighbours, it feels like we are closing trying to close the window on saving the environment while leaving the whole door and wall open for pollutants!! I fear for not just the upcoming generations but even for my own and how much more it will become worse in the coming years!! Last couple of years seems to move quicker into a spiral sucking everyone towards the fast approaching end, with more wars happening and destruction world over which are solely driven by egoes of individuals. Nature has its way of responding to such mindless and senseless activities and if the Nepal floods are anything to observe, mother nature is ruthless at best when it comes to teaching a lesson!!
