When in need...

This month showed the real colours and flavors of many people in my life, especially how they will respond and react in times of trouble. I had a situation in my professional front that really tested the thin fabric of time, be it my past, my present or the immediate future. There were some incidents that really shook the foundations of my daily life and was desperately looking for help, some sort of a hold-on, to navigate myself. Help came from lot of quarters and with god's grace, by this time next week, i would be much more surefooted and secure than where i am and what i am today.

It may not be the time or place to vent out against those who couldn't care less about what happened and if at all they could've helped. But i am mere human and such negative thoughts are abound my mind at this moment and i couldn't quite think any less of them. There are certain situations that are hard to explain as to why they happen, but when they do happen, it makes even less sense as to why they happen to us, of all the people!! But eventually, like everything else, they also teach a valuable lesson or two or twenty, which leaves their remembrance scar on your psyche and mind.

Hopefully, things will take a turn for the better and pretty soon at that.

P.S: in the last 20 days alone, the hit count of this blog has increased 7 times the usual monthly average, especially when i'ven't posted anything!! Enna thaan solla vareenga!! padikara mathiri post poatta naanga en varaama irukomnu solreengalo??!! Apdilam capakutty iruntha..hmmmm!!!

Everything happens for good. This is what i always believe. God somehow brought you out of this situations through good people and I feel those who didnt care were not supposed to have any part in this. I know i sound so philosophical but i went through similar circumstance and this thinking is what helped me survive without hating anyone.
Hope everything is turning out good.

Sorry that you had some trying moments. You are a great guy and you will deal with everything that life sometimes might throw. But then when not so good times are there, they will be more than compensated by good times. Our best wishes are always with you Gilsu.

The blog count is no mystery. Your legions of fans were so upset by the lack of posts that we all logged in 5 times a day to check if there is a new post :)

Deadly cross by James Patterson book review

I try to read one book per month minimum. Most of 2022 was spent on Alex cross series by James Patterson as I wanted to finish the series. Having completed about a dozen or so of that 2 dozen and odd series, had hardly posted a review for the reason, none of them were that impressive. James Patterson thrives on psycho villains and serial killers who are very meticulous and almost always have Alex cross as the one who crosses their path. In fact, till the last reveal, it would be very difficult to guess the “whodunnit”. But rather than that being the plus the reveal often make you realize, just for the sake of a grand twist, such characterizations serve no purpose. The fellow person who would’ve travelled throughout the story as a close associate of Cross would often be the serial psycho killer. It became a standard template across all those stories and had given up reading that series altogether. This one was long pending on the list of unread and had started reading just to close the ...

Enna koduma saaar ithu!!!!

We are a group of 5 who share our apartment. Usually me and one more guy are the last to the leave the house everyday morning. Yesterday, the one who used to leave first for office, didnt come home till 11. I went to sleep after the usual book reading session at around 11.30. When i woke up i saw it was only me who was still lying on the mat while even the guy who leaves for office along with me, had already started folding his bed!! I was feeling very tired and sleepy and was in two minds whether i should take off or go late. Still managed to crawl..brushed teeth half sleeping and swtiched on the geyser. I turned back to see, suddenly it was pitch dark outside the bathroom!! Since the light was On inside, it wasnt power cut and i came out to see what was wrong. The guy who folded his bed, had moved to the hall and was again asleep!! Then only i noticed, it was dark outside the balcony too!!! I checked the time. It was 3AM!!! BOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! SOB SOB SOB!!! That useless guy afterwards ...
