A paradox called life

"Arrrrrrrrrrrjunnn...enga kelambita" "Amma..naan velayaada poren" "Classku kelambara neram aachu..po elaathiyum readya eduthuko.." If Everyone Cared

Gummu song...loved the first para of the lyrics and got hooked right into it. Below are the lovely lovely lyrics and the online audio. Music is not bad too..thanks to Avada Kedavra for introducing this song. From underneath the trees, we watch the sky Confusing stars for satellites I never dreamed that you'd be mine But here we are, we're here tonight Singing Amen, I, I'm alive Singing Amen, I, I'm alive [Chorus:] If everyone cared and nobody cried If everyone loved and nobody lied If everyone shared and swallowed their pride Then we'd see the day when nobody died And I'm singing Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive And in the air the fireflies Our only light in paradise We'll show the world they were wrong And teach them all to sing along Singing Amen, I, I'm alive Singing Amen, I, I'm alive (I'm alive) [Chorus x2] And as we lie beneath the stars We realize how small we are If they could love like you and me Ima

Inception - Sell me your dreams...

Atlast i managed to see the movie :) It was almost as if i was not destined to see it last year. I badly wanted to see it in theaters and tried so many times to get a ticket. But somehow or other the opportunity slipped away. And when i bought the DVD, my friend(grrrrr) took it away and it was with him for 3 4 weeks before i could finally lay my hands on it. By this time, i had got a fair idea of what the movie was all about and was sort of mentally prepared :) I sound as if i had prepared for a battle..still :) the hype that surrounded the movie and the reviews i read had raised my expectations for it..glad to say it didnt disappoint one bit. Kudos to the director who is also the writer for conceiving such a complex idea and yet presenting it as simple as it deserves to be. I wont say its a movie which you can enjoy munching over a popcorn. You might rather forget the popcorn while watching it if you get hooked into it. There are so many incidents happening per frame that, even if you

News sans sense

I have been noticing this similarity for a while now. Every year, Jan 1st newspaper page one, would be majorly covered with all the disasters and death news of the previous day. Atleast news kedaikalaina, ivangaly vandi eduthutu poitu accident panitaachum atha front pagela potruvanga nenakren. "Vizhuppuram arugil payanigal peruthu marathil mothiyathu" Athaan perlaye vizhupuramnu irukulla..driver paathu otirukanum. Paakama oatti vizhunthaprum news aadichinu varutha patta epdi. "Tanker lorryum Vanum mothi kondathil pathu per bali" There exists no newspaper which doesnt boast of this particular news. Right from "Daily thanthi" to "Daily Bugle" this is a "HAS-TO-BE-THERE" news. If you are not printing this news, it means your paper is not worth it. Your reporters are cheating on you. Even if such a travesty doesnt happen, its your "pathirgai dharmam" to print this news. YUCK. OOrla thousand and 5 nalla news irukarachay saavu news

Devil wears Allen Solly

"My personal life is hanging by a thread, that's all. Nigel" "Oh, join the club. That's what happens when you start doing well at work, darling. Let me know when your whole life goes up in smoke. That means it's time for a promotion" The above lines from the movie "Devil wears Prada" sums up the life of any corporate worker with a tinge of ambition to move up the ladder. This is taken to a totally new extreme in Indian MNC's. Officially, on paper, they preach work life balance and all those politically correct words. But if at all anyone really puts such things in practice they are frowned upon. Working beyond office hours is something which is taken for granted and anyone who leaves on time is seen as one with no workload. However fast you are in getting your job done and however smart you are in the way you work, "Smart worker" exists as truly as "Tooth Fairy" in corporates. Its always the "Hard worker"..the
